AXA Hong Kong and Macau has announced the grand opening of “AXA Dreamland,” which integrates sports, culture, and leisure.
The entertainment and sport venue found in Go Park Sai Sha, is sponsored by AXA and managed by Yiu Wing Entertainment Group.
The launch of “AXA Dreamland” is a collaboration that aims to promote local entertainment, arts, and sports. The grand opening was attended by Sally Wan, CEO of AXA Greater China, Daniel Chang, CMO and partner at Yiu Wing Entertainment Group, and Judy Chow, general manager – leasing at Sun Hung Kai Real Estate (Sales and Leasing) Agency Limited.
“We are thrilled to further collaborate with Yiu Wing again, to unveil AXA Dreamland, bringing diverse entertainment experiences to our community,” said Wan.
“This is more than just a venue offering diverse experiences; AXA Dreamland is a platform for everyone to pursue and achieve their dreams, whether they are passionate about music, sports, art, or culture.”
Go Park Sai Sha is an integrated sports and commercial complex that is part of the Sai Sha mega integrated development project, which was developed by Sun Hung Kai Properties Limited. The AXA Dreamland currently occupies the indoor multipurpose stadium of the complex, as it serves as an indoor sports facility that can host small to medium-sized music concerts as well as sports competitions.
With its size, the venue will be able to accommodate up to 1,500 people. Its current rental occupancy rate is at 80%, with more than 50,000 attendees expected, which makes it an ideal space for events revolving around entertainment and sports.
The opening ceremony for AXA Dreamland also saw performances by local bands RubberBand and Cozy Syndrome. Following the ceremony, the venue will also be hosting various events, as the public demanded diverse activities such as art exhibitions, cultural seminars, and other dynamic activities that aimed to showcase the city’s cultural landscape.
Concerts and fan meetings at the venue in May and June will include performances from Taiwanese singer SHOU and K-pop group VERIVERY.
