AXA Hong Kong and Macau has announced a new partnership with Carbon Wallet, a green lifestyle reward platform under MTR Lab Company, for initiatives towards greener lifestyles and a more sustainable future.

AXA is Carbon Wallet’s first insurance partner in Hong Kong, with the collaboration resulting in the AXA Go Green Rewards campaign. This aims to recognise customers’ efforts to reduce their paper use through opting for digitalised insurance processes, and as a result, lower carbon emissions. AXA said that this is the first partnership in the market to offer rewards for insurance customers for their green actions.

The AXA Go Green Rewards campaign starts June 19 and ends Aug. 18, and is open to all Hong Kong residents aged 18 and above. Customers need only complete a simple registration process on the Emma by AXA app. Carbon Wallet Points (CW Points) will then be rewarded based on the completion of their green actions, such as digital claim submissions and online purchase of insurance products.

AXA Greater China CEO Sally Wan said that the program is a call to action to propel more people to go on a green journey in making the planet a better place.

“Climate change has become the biggest threat in the 21st century. It is crucial for us to educate and encourage our community to take concrete actions now to combat the climate crisis and to build a greener and more sustainable planet. As an exemplary company, AXA is proud to join hands with Carbon Wallet to step up our efforts to inspire our customers and more broadly our community to engage in green actions.,” Wan said.
