Arch Insurance introduces new senior manager for cyber insurance

New addition aims to extend insurer’s cyber insurance portfolio in Australia and Pacific

Arch Insurance Australia has announced the appointment of Rachel Green as national cyber underwriting manager for Australia and the Pacific region effective immediately.

The announcement follows Arch’s two senior appointments in France and Spain within the cyber insurance space. With the appointment comes the establishment of a new cyber insurance practice in the company.

The insurer said the new cyber practice offers insurance products across cyber, IT liability and cyber property to provide comprehensive solutions to both brokers and clients in the midmarket and large corporate segments. In her new role, Green will be at the forefront of the development of Arch’s cyber insurance portfolio across Australia and the Pacific region. She will be reporting to Dominic Brannigan, the regional manager of Arch Insurance Australia.

Prior to joining Arch, Green served at Chubb as a major accounts division segment leader for cyber and technology in Australia. She has also held senior roles specializing in cyber solutions at Aon and at AXIS Specialty Europe SE in London.

“We are excited to launch our cyber insurance practice and provide our broking partners in Australia and the Pacific region with direct access to cyber insurance specialists. We are also delighted to announce Rachel’s appointment. With her extensive market knowledge and cyber expertise, she is the ideal candidate to lead the development of our cyber practice,” said Brannigan.
