Arch Insurance Australia has announced the immediate appointment of Amanda Seng as Southern Region property underwriting manager, a newly created position.
In this role, Seng (pictured) will oversee underwriting activities and product development across Arch Insurance Australia’s property portfolio for the Southern Region.
She is based in Melbourne and will report directly to national property underwriting manager Brendon Terry.
“We are delighted to welcome Amanda on board,” Terry said. “Her wealth of experience in both the general insurer and agency markets makes her a valuable addition to the team. She is highly respected in the market by both peers and brokers, and she will enable us to bolster our relevance and service proposition to brokers and clients in the Southern Region.”
In his new role, Faulkner will manage and develop strategic broker relationships in Australia and the Pacific region. He will report to Arch Insurance Australia regional manager Dominic Brannigan and work closely with Arch’s strategy and distribution team in London, headed by chief strategy and distribution officer Simon Williams.
Brannigan commended Faulkner’s extensive experience and proven ability to build strategic and solid broker relationships.
“We’re delighted to welcome Michael to the team,” he said. “With a wealth of experience and a strong track record of building strategic and long-lasting broker relationships, Michael is the perfect fit for this new role.
“He is well respected in the market and will enhance our ability to drive further growth across our underwriting portfolio, build our relevance, and continue to deliver outstanding service for our broker partners.”
