Allianz Trade, a specialist in trade credit insurance, has introduced Allianz Trade pay, a payment solution tailored for the B2B e-commerce sector.
This service suite, as the company explains, aims to revamp how businesses manage their online transactions.
Allianz Trade pay offers support through a variety of services, including trade credit insurance protection, a fraud prevention module, a digital buyer onboarding solution, and instant financing options via financial institution partners.
With the rapid expansion of the B2B e-commerce sector, Allianz Trade – part of the Allianz group, recognized as the leading insurance brand for 2023 – has been actively developing solutions like e-commerce credit insurance and forging partnerships with e-commerce entities and leading financial institutions.
Allianz Trade pay – what does it offer?
The services offered through Allianz Trade pay include an e-commerce credit insurance that provides real-time online customer credit, enabling B2B e-merchants to offer payment terms to their clients while safeguarding against non-payment risks.
Additionally, financing solutions are available for both domestic operations and multinational operations, offering immediate payment to e-merchants for online transactions through Allianz Trade’s API connections with BNPL partners.
It also introduces a digital buyer onboarding solution facilitating the KYB process at checkout through a company search module, leveraging open-banking technologies and access to Allianz Trade’s database of financial, commercial, and strategic information on over 83 million companies globally.
“With Allianz Trade pay, we are now covering the entire B2B e-commerce value chain, from KYB to payment, and addressing the needs of the whole ecosystem, from e-merchants to BNPL players, banks and marketplaces,” said François Burtin, global head of e-commerce at Allianz Trade.
