Insurance broker ALKEME, which has completed more than 40 acquisitions since its founding in 2020, is growing further via its swoop for Louisiana-based Hardwick Insurance.
The latest deal, financial terms of which were not disclosed, signifies the expansion of ALKEME’s presence into the southern United States. Located in Lafayette, Hardwick Insurance is known for its expertise in both commercial and personal insurance for a diverse client base across the southern region.
With Hardwick Insurance’s longstanding reputation for delivering top-tier service and tailored insurance solutions, particularly for religious organizations, the acquisition aligns with ALKEME’s goal to provide comprehensive, customized insurance services.
Lifting the lid on the transaction, ALKEME chief executive Curtis Barton (pictured) said: “We are excited to expand our footprint into the southern US with Hardwick Insurance. Their specialization in insuring religious organizations complements our broad range of insurance offerings, and we look forward to helping them gain a larger footprint.”
Meanwhile, Hardwick Insurance president William Hardwick had this to say: “Joining ALKEME is an exciting milestone for our agency. We are eager to leverage ALKEME’s extensive resources, national reach, and innovative platform to better serve our clients and grow our business.”
Earlier this year, ALKEME added California-based Ferrante Insurance Services to its roster of firms.
“Frank [Ferrante] has built an amazing team with a commitment to serving contractors with exemplary service, which perfectly aligns with our values. By joining forces, we will be well positioned to achieve great things and better serve Ferrante’s current and future clients.”
A full-service insurance agency, ALKEME operates from more than 35 locations across the US.
