ALKEME has announced the appointment of Scott Salandi (pictured above) as the new senior vice president, director of surety.
Salandi brings over three decades of experience in the surety industry, including significant expertise in both domestic and international markets. His recent role involved growing a profitable construction surety portfolio in the Southern California marketplace.
In his new position at ALKEME, Salandi will establish a national surety practice to service the surety bond needs of the company. His responsibilities will include underwriting, marketing, and placing surety bond business.
Additionally, ALKEME said that he will provide strategic surety guidance to clients and executive leadership to the national practice, aiming to maximize long-term growth plans.
“We are thrilled to welcome Scott to the ALKEME team,” ALKEME CEO Curtis Barton said. “His extensive experience in the surety industry and strong reputation in the marketplace will be extremely valuable to our producers and construction clients with surety needs.
