As a prelude to improving its portal for brokers, American International Group (AIG) announced a redesign of its website intended to improve communications with clients and staff.

“The new design enables AIG to communicate more effectively and fosters stronger and more efficient engagement with clients, distribution partners, shareholders and other stakeholders,” said Lucy Fato, executive vice president and global head of communications, AIG, in a written statement.

The new “myAIG Broker Portal” will phase in brokers and agents throughout 2023, according to the company, with more capabilities and improvements also being added throughout the year. The company expects to make the new capabilities available globally through the portal starting in early 2024.

The broker portal was designed based on research about AIG’s customers’ needs, along with input from AIG’s Broker Advisory group, comprised of its most active insurance trading partners.
