Acera Insurance Services has announced its partnership with Pacific Insurance Brokers.

The new alliance marks Acera Insurance’s fifth partnership in Ontario this year, reinforcing the group’s strategic growth in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). Acera Insurance already operates offices in Aurora, Brampton, Burlington, and Newmarket.

Based in Richmond Hill, Pacific Insurance was established in 1976 with a modest team of four. It has since grown into a multilingual firm with over 50 professionals specializing in personal and commercial insurance.

With a strong focus on commercial lines, Pacific Insurance was seeking a partner that could enhance its service offerings.

Samantha Hui, president of Pacific Insurance, noted: “Remaining independent was a very important factor for us when looking to grow, which made Acera Insurance an ideal partner.

“We pride ourselves on providing our clients with the best service, including offering impartial options and solutions that work in their best interests – this is something only a truly independent brokerage can offer.”

The deal was finalized in early August, and Pacific Insurance will eventually operate under the Acera Insurance name. This latest partnership highlights Acera Insurance’s growing presence as the largest independent, employee-controlled brokerage in Canada.

Along with its five locations in the GTA, Acera Insurance has additional offices in Bath, Hamilton, Huntsville, Kingston, London, Ottawa, and Welland.

“Acera Insurance is a full-service brokerage that uniquely has dedicated teams specializing in group benefits and specialty solutions for high-net-worth individuals,” chief operating officer Bruce Rabik (pictured) highlighted.

“We’re pleased to partner with firms such as Pacific Insurance who look at their clients’ needs holistically and want to provide customized end-to-end solutions.”

Recent additions to Acera Insurance include Jacobi Brien Insurance in Nova Scotia.

“As a wholly Canadian-owned brokerage, Acera Insurance is proud to support Canadians, employ Canadians, and continually grow to serve more communities across Canada,” Rabik said in July.
