A double win for Aviva at the Tech & Innovation awards

Last week we were delighted to have picked up two gold awards in the Tech & Innovation awards, the first being ‘Best Insurer Extranet’ for our 5-star rated Fast Trade platform and the second being ‘Best Use of AI’ alongside Acturis for our Commercial Lines proposition.

We’re continuing to take on your feedback when developing our digital trading platforms, to make trading online even easier for you. Here’s a recap of some of what we’ve recently delivered for Fast Trade:

CIT Underinsurance – Using data and AI to alert brokers to the potential of underinsurance within the quote journey.Client Dashboard – Utilising our product recommendation feature to provide targeted cross-sell opportunities to brokers and giving them a clear interface.Property Owners Journey – Improved our Property Owners quote journey to make digital trading easier with improved address input and presentation playback, saving the broker time.Online to Offline service – Expanded our Online to Offline referral process, so when a risk can’t be placed online, brokers can now refer for both CCI and Property Owners to a team of dedicated underwriters.

We were also thrilled to see that Floodflash, part of Aviva Marketplace, came home with 3 awards from the evening. Floodflash were awarded two golds, the first for ‘Best use of Technology for Customer Experience’ for their commercial lines flood insurance solution. The second gold was for Best use of Technology for Customer Experience – Claims (Insurer/MGA) and the silver they were awarded was for Technology Innovation of the Year.

“We’re hugely proud to have picked up three awards, each focussed on customer experience. This is recognition of how we are not only addressing a real customer need but also delivering excellent claims service. From this moment on, catastrophic flooding need not pose an existential threat to a business’s survival.” – Nyasha Kuwana, UK Commercial Director, Floodflash
