Everest has introduced a new solution that integrates insurance coverage with travel, medical, and security assistance services.

The Everest Business Travel Accident Insurance was developed as a significant addition to the insurer’s A&H portfolio. According to Everest, it aims to cater to the needs of corporate and not-for-profit employers, employees, and their accompanying guests during both domestic and international travel.

The proposition supports a wide array of travel requirements, encompassing pre-departure guidance, assistance with prescription medications, facilitating transportation to local medical practitioners, and emergency medical evacuation.

In collaboration with Healix International, Everest’s preferred travel assistance partner and a globally recognized travel assistance provider, insured travelers also gain access to extensive in-country support around the clock, every day of the year. The partnership with Healix additionally offers access to supplementary services such as travel tracking, pre-trip assessments, and other elements that complete a comprehensive duty of care travel program for businesses and their travelers, compliant with ISO 31-0030 standards.

“With the resurgence of business travel, Everest is meeting the demand for comprehensive, tailored protection for companies and their business travelers worldwide,” said Shawn Austin, Everest senior vice president and head of A&H for North America. “Our latest offering is backed by decades of accident and health expertise and a best-in-class team of specialized underwriters and claims professionals. It also helps our valued distribution partners meet their clients’ unique duty of care needs.”
