Emily Oliver

Emily has spent her summer as a part of the Enterprise Risk Management team. “Before coming to NYCM for the internship in the risk division, I did not realize there was a workforce risk management team and the need for it. I also did not realize how much risk there is associated with an insurance company before starting here. It has shown me how prepared the risk team and the company as a whole try to be for any risks there may be, and how well they analyze all the risks. It has taught me that there is a need for a risk department in all workforces,” she says. Emily goes to Utica University and is in her second year. Emily is majoring in Business Management and is minoring in Finance. Emily loves traveling, camping, going to concerts, kayaking, riding ATVs, and spending time with family and friends.

As the summer continues, we pride ourselves in providing the best experience possible for our interns. We appreciate the work our interns dedicate to NYCM Insurance and look forward to seeing how the experiences they’ve gained here help them with their future endeavors. Thank you for all of your dedication and hard work!
