Bikesure has revealed an exciting sponsorship deal with True Heroes Racing, the UK’s first motorcycle race team dedicated to supporting wounded, injured and sick UK service personnel and veterans.

Announcing the deal, Bikesure’s Rob Balls said: “We’re delighted to be working with True Heroes again. These bike-mad ex-servicemen are a truly inspiring group of people and Bikesure is proud to be associated with them.”

True Heroes: “engage, empower and inspire”

The True Heroes’ aim is “to engage, empower and inspire” the disabled and disadvantaged community through training, mentoring and assistance as part of a team of able bodied and wounded, injured and sick (WIS) UK Service personnel and veterans to enable them to take a full and active part in competitive motorsport.

They encourage social inclusion and use physical training and endurance activities to help boost confidence, inspire others and aid the rehabilitation and recovery of WIS personnel and veterans.

Being a part of a team competing in motorsport at the highest level is an immense challenge for anyone, but provides military personnel and vets with truly unique opportunities to aid their rehabilitation and recovery.

Their direct involvement as part of a high-end motorsport team, all working towards the same goal, also provides the opportunity to regain a focus and define specific goals to strive towards.

Motorcycle racing: Fast, frenetic and high-pressure

Motorcycle racing is a fast, frenetic and high-pressure environment. It is also a world many service personnel would not have considered open to them, even when they were fully able bodied, let alone post-illness or injury.

Competing at the British Superbike Championships, widely regarded as the best domestic motorcycle race championships in the world, enables True Heroes to relay the positive message of overcoming adversity and inspiration through achievement to the widest possible audience, at race circuits the length and breadth of the UK, and wider still with additional worldwide exposure through televised coverage of the racing.

Rob added: “It’s going to be a very exciting year for the British Superbike Championships and everyone at Bikesure is thrilled to be part of it through our commitment to True Heroes.”
