ILS Asia 2023: Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) to deliver keynote

Singapore has made impressive progress as a hub for insurance-linked securities (ILS) and catastrophe bond business over the last few years.

When the first Artemis ILS Asia conference was held back in 2016, the Singapore ILS regulatory regime and grant scheme did not exist, but today the country has a burgeoning ILS industry and is the domicile to numerous special purpose reinsurance vehicles established to issue ILS and cat bonds.

Mr. Lim Cheng Khai works closely with industry partners to achieve these goals, partnering with key financial institutions and industry associations to support the growth of Singapore’s financial markets and strengthen the proposition of Singapore as a gateway to serve Asia’s capital raising and financing needs.
