Sedgwick has made two leadership appointments to boost its forensic accounting team in Australia.

Andrew Cardamis took on the role of partner, while Jillian Pancott became the director of forensic accounting. Both have over a decade of experience in providing expert financial analysis to clients to ensure claims are accurately quantified and resolved.

New forensic accounting partner

Cardamis (pictured) joined Sedgwick in 2018. He has extensive expertise across risk management, insurance, and business recovery.

“Andrew’s promotion to partner of forensic accounting is a testament to his excellent performance,” said Emma Levett, partner and head of forensic accounting services in Australia at Sedgwick. “He joined us when the Melbourne operation consisted of just two colleagues, and he has been a driving force in growing that team. Andrew brings a rigorous technical skillset, with particular specialisation in large loss property claims and cyber business interruption, as well as strong interpersonal leadership skills that he uses to nurture and upskill the team.”

New director of forensic accounting

Pancott is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) in Ontario, Canada and Certified Management Accountant.

She has over 15 years of forensic accounting experience and specialises in business interruption and professional indemnity claims and catastrophe response. She has played a leading role in quantifying economic losses and recovery related to earthquakes, floods, and cyclones across Australia and New Zealand.

“Jillian’s elevation to director reflects her exceptional work since joining in 2015,” Levett said. “She is a wonderful ambassador for Sedgwick and embodies our values, with a strong commitment to mentoring and developing colleagues. Jillian’s expertise in property and liability is regularly sought across the business, and I look forward to seeing her thrive in her new role.”
