McFarlan Rowlands Insurance Brokers has announced a major milestone: Lisa Kadoura (pictured), manager of the company’s gold private client offering, has become the first Canadian to receive the Advanced Chartered Private Risk and Insurance Advisor (ACPRIA) certificate.

The ACPRIA program, recognized for its comprehensive and rigorous coursework, is specifically tailored to deepen the knowledge of seasoned professionals who manage intricate risk scenarios.

Offered by the Private Risk Management Association (PRMA) and endorsed by the Tobin Centre for Executive Education at St. John’s University, the program partners with the university’s School of Risk Management, Insurance, and Actuarial Science.

Since its launch in 2018, only 37 insurance professionals from top firms in the US and Canada have completed the elite year-long program.

Jason Schneider, president of McFarlan Rowlands Insurance Brokers, commented: “We are immensely proud of Lisa’s achievement in securing the ACPRIA certificate. Her dedication to staying ahead of industry trends and her commitment to providing the highest level of service to our clients is truly commendable.

“This milestone not only reflects her personal dedication but also reinforces our firm’s commitment to excellence and innovation.”

PRMA executive director Diane Delaney added: “This year’s graduates have shown exceptional collaborative skills and a deep commitment to advancing the field of risk management.

“We are honoured to support these professionals as they continue their career development and contribute to the progress of the industry. The insights and solutions developed through the ACPRIA program have the potential to drive significant positive change and improve outcomes for clients across the sector.”
