Internal hire moves from group’s Benelux business

Zurich North America has appointed Arooran ‘Aroo’ Sivasubramaniam (pictured) as head of Zurich Resilience Solutions (ZRS) for the region.
With about 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, Sivasubramaniam brings a wealth of expertise across various sectors. Prior to his new role, he served as the head of middle market for the Netherlands and Belgium at Zurich Benelux.
Sivasubramaniam career with Zurich began in 2013 at the company’s London office, after which he moved to Switzerland to manage financial lines pricing within commercial insurance. He later transitioned into the role of chief financial officer at Zurich Benelux, where he played a key part in leading a business transformation.
Effective immediately, Sivasubramaniam will focus on expanding ZRS’s risk management services. His remit will include developing and implementing key initiatives to establish Zurich as a trusted leader in the field of risk prevention and management.
ZRS provides clients with risk insights and services aimed at helping businesses reduce their exposure to risks and enhance operational efficiency. As the unit’s leader in North America, Sivasubramaniam will report to Dirk De Nil, global head of ZRS.
