Northwestern Mutual, a company specializing in comprehensive financial planning through insurance and investments, has announced the relocation and expansion of its San Jose office.

The new office is located at 1919 South Bascom Avenue, Suite 350 in Campbell, California. It features a client service center equipped with a concierge, a coffee bar, and private meeting rooms.

The upgraded space is designed to offer various work areas for career advisors and new advisors, facilitating focused work and team collaboration.

The move will also enable Northwestern Mutual San Jose to expand its team, improve staff dynamics, and achieve over 50% growth in financial advisors, representatives, financial planning interns, and employees.

Kate Michaels (pictured), managing partner at Northwestern Mutual, commented: “We are excited to embark on this next chapter. The new location allows our advisors and representatives to better collaborate and serve our clients in the greater San Jose area. Our commitment to comprehensive financial planning that helps clients reach their goals remains unchanged.”

Consisting of a diverse group of financial professionals who reside in the local area, the San Jose workforce has doubled in size since March 2023. Further growth plans, meanwhile, will target Vietnam Town, Fresno, and South San Jose.

According to Northwestern Mutual, district directors Doug Miller and Peter An, along with growth and development directors Natalie Le and Mike Bacciarelli, will oversee the recruitment, development, and growth of new financial advisors and representatives, maintaining the highest standards. The office is seeking experienced leaders from the community to join the team.

“Our San Jose community has experienced significant changes these past few years with large employers scaling back,” Michaels noted.

“Fueled by our vision of passion, growth, mutual respect, and integrity, we are on track to once again double the advisors and representatives in our firm, ensuring a sustainable future for both our firm and our clients, and providing career opportunities to top talent in the area.”
