KSI Engineering Expands its Forensic Engineering Services in Western Canada
TORONTO, ON, MAY 23, 2024/insPRESS/ – In response to the rapid growth the firm is experiencing, KSI Engineering has opened a new office in Edmonton, Alberta, and appointed Dr. Ahmed Farag as the director of its Western Canada operations. The Director of KSI Engineering Western Canada Operations is the primary project manager for all insurance claims in Western Canada and the direct supervisor of KSI Engineering staff in Alberta and British Columbia. In addition to providing engineering services for commercial and industrial buildings, Dr. Farag is a registered Professional Engineer in Alberta and British Columbia and has considerable experience in the design and construction of oil and gas facilities including onshore and subsea pipelines.

KSI Engineering has recently developed and released the first and only forensic engineering application that is designed to help Ontario adjusters, building appraisers, and restoration contractors quickly assess whether roof damage reported in the wake of snowstorms was caused by snow or resulted from pre-existing construction deficiencies. The application is called KSI Forensics and is available for free download from the App Store and Google Play.
