USAA has announced the donation of four vehicles through the National Auto Body Council (NABC) Recycled Rides program as it reaffirms its commitment to supporting veterans and their communities.

The NABC Recycled Rides program involves restoring and refurbishing vehicles to provide to those in need, which the company says emphasizes the critical role transportation plays in the lives of veterans and their families. This year, USAA has dedicated four vehicles to military families.

“We are honored to continue our support for veterans and their families through the NABC Recycled Rides program,” USAA property and casualty president Randy Termeer said in a news release. “These vehicles represent more than just transportation; they symbolize our gratitude for the sacrifices made by our service members.”

A leading provider of insurance and retirement solutions to US military personnel, USAA noted that it is committed to serving veterans. The recipients of these vehicles were selected through nominations by non-profit organizations, recognizing their need for dependable transportation. The collaboration with NABC and various partners in the collision repair industry allows the vehicles to be repaired and gifted.

The first of these four vehicles will be presented on April 21, in San Diego, CA. The restoration was completed by employees at Fix Auto Poway, who volunteered their time. The vehicle’s recipient was nominated by Support the Enlisted Project (STEP), an organization dedicated to assisting military families.
