Lake Ontario

Saranac Lake

Ashokan Reservoir
The Ashokan Reservoir is located east of the Catskills in the city of
Kingston, NY. This beautiful spot is perfect for a peaceful walk or a bike

Ashokan actually means “place of fish!” Common fish that live in this body of
water include Rainbow trout, Brown trout, Largemouth bass, Walleye, and Yellow
perch.
