2024 Community Impact Grant Program: Empowering Canadian Charities to Create Lasting Change

TORONTO, ON, JULY 29, 2024/insPRESS/ – Ecclesiastical Insurance’s annual nationwide Community Impact Grant program is now accepting applications from registered Canadian charities and non-profits. From 2017 to the end of 2024, their giving programs will have distributed over 500 charitable grants totalling $5 million to charities both large and small in support of transformational services that help communities across Canada to thrive.

Proudly funded by Ecclesiastical Insurance under the auspices of their charitable owner, Benefact Trust, this initiative aligns with their commitment to give all available profits back to charity and good causes. As part of a comprehensive suite of giving programs and partnerships, the 2024 Community Impact Grant will help uplift and empower communities in need. Registered charities and non-profits with programming dedicated to environmental conservation, food security, and supporting vulnerable youth, families, and seniors are encouraged to apply between July 29 – August 29, 2024.

“Given the great need in communities across Canada at this present time, we are pleased that we can once again lend a helping hand through the launch of our 2024 Community Impact Grant program. We are proud that we can continue our longstanding tradition of partnering with the extraordinary work of Canadian charities to support marginalized communities and help build a more equitable society where everyone can thrive.” – Jacinta Whyte, General Manager & Chief Agent for Ecclesiastical Canada and Chair of the Canadian Grant Giving Committee.

The impact and legacy of this grant program extends far and wide, touching the lives of those most in need right across the country. Empowering services that: deliver fresh groceries to remote communities in the Northwest Territories; engage children from underrepresented communities in Nova Scotia with experiential climate education; and support youth leadership development through the arts in Ontario; among countless other stories across Canada.
